At the end of the summer holidays, it was that time again! We went to the street action on Rehmenfeld with unicycles, stilts and all kinds of play equipment.
At around 11 am the first visitors started to arrive.
This year Sarina has woven beautiful bracelets and necklaces from fabric and leather cords with children. The new federal volunteer Merle was responsible for the game table, on which she played bingo, Lotti Karotti and Memory, among other board games.
On the playground across the road, the children could play Viking chess with Petra, juggle or turn plates. In addition, the swing cloth aroused great enthusiasm among the little ones.
Gila and Ann-Kathrin taught the kids and teens how to ride a unicycle and walk on stilts. They also had a chance to try out Pogo sticks, wave boards, scooters, and hula hoops. There was even parkour they could drive in with the scooters.
The “Kulturen-Mobil” from the AWO was on site too. Bernd actively supported us. He grilled the sausages and played with the children.
The sausages, as well as grilled corn and tasty baguette, made a nice snack.
When the time came to pack up, parents, children and young people lend a helping hand so it was done in no time.
