On March 20th, 2018 the youth centre was once again on the Breslauer Straße and had a cool street event!
The weather was wonderfully sunny, but it was very cold outside. Nevertheless, many children came out of the streets and tried out the great activities.
The girls rode the unicycle alone or with the help of the volunteers, or walked on stilts. The boys, on the other hand, preferred to ride scooters, BMX, or play football in the meadow with the goals set up. With Petra you could make figures out of wood with a fretsaw at the handicraft table, which was great fun for the children. In addition, we set up board games under the pavilion, which were very popular during breaks.
After all the action, the children warmed up with hot tea or in the AWO mobile. In order to get to know the new house in advance, Ulli went there with the children on BMX tours. Of course, there were freshly baked waffles from Gila again in the afternoon.
And then the day slowly came to an end. The last rounds were spun and the last games played. After everything was put away, even the last children, who stayed until the end, went home.
