Access to electronic communication:
The Zeven municipality provides access to electronic communication via email or by using electronic forms. The email addresses published on these websites and on the Zeven municipality letterhead can be used for electronic communication in accordance with Section 3a of the Administrative Procedure Act.
The following requirements must be observed when sending emails and using electronic forms:
1. The Zeven municipality does not currently use electronic encryption or electronic signatures. Documents that require a special written form should therefore not be sent by email.
2. For security reasons, emails should only be sent in text format. Documents that are sent to the Zeven municipality as an attachment with an email should only have the following formats: .doc, .rtf, .txt, .xls, .pdf, .ppt, pps, .gif, .tif, .jpg, bmp, .zip.
3. Electronic forms on the Zeven municipality website can only be used if the following requirements are met:
– to use the PDF format, you need the Acrobat Reader program.
– to use the XML format, you need to install Java Runtime version 1.4.2.02 or higher.
Technical requirements:
This website is optimized for Firefox browsers from version 64.0.x, Google Chrome version 71.0.3.x and Internet Explorer from version 11.0 with a screen resolution of 1024×768 pixels. Javascript should be activated for optimal display. To view some content, you need additional software such as Adobe Acrobat Reader from Adobe, Macromedia Flash Player or Real Player. The mobile version is optimally displayed on iPhone 6 and above or comparable smartphones.
